Dream Baby Dream

In 2019, there is still no First Nations Voice in the Constitution. So, when Young Indigenous choir Spinifex Gum wanted their voice to be heard, we created a song that let them make their dream a reality.

Dream Baby Dream was an interactive musical petition, where any Australian could lend their voice by singing the chorus into the Spinifex Gum microsite. Every voice lent was mixed and mastered into the song, which turned into a musical petition calling for a First Nations Voice in the Australian Constitution. The final track, which garnered over 13,000 voices, was pressed onto vinyl, and handed over to the Australian Government when the choir performed in Parliament House. The campaign ultimately gave every Australian the opportunity to lend their voice to those who remained voiceless.
